Shakedown Circus Revamp is the evolution of the bold, inclusive, and empowering performances that have captivated audiences since 2014. Our shows give back to the community by donating a portion of ticket sales. We have given back over 14K to different causes including Short North Stage, Motherful, Planned Parenthood and to local refugees in Columbus, OH. Shakedown Circus is where we can all Do Good, by Bein’ Bad!!!

With stunning visuals, a dynamic soundtrack and unforgettable acts, Shakedown Circus is mission driven entertainment that creates and forwards empowerment, liberation and body positivity.
What makes our show truly special is the diversity of both our performers and our audience. We proudly create a space where everyone’s differences are embraced. Our show features a wide range of ages, backgrounds, races, sexual orientations, and body types, which allows our audience to see themselves represented and celebrated.

Empowerment
Shakedown Circus is built on a foundation of empowerment. Our performers, many of whom come from marginalized communities, are given the creative freedom to take ownership of their bodies and their stories. Your donation helps create a platform for voices that are often underrepresented in traditional performance spaces.
Inspiration
Every act in Shakedown Circus tells a story of transformation, liberation, and self-love. Through creativity, vulnerability, and boldness, our performers inspire audiences to embrace their own power and individuality.
Supporting Underserved Communities
We believe in making the arts accessible to all. A percentage of our ticket sales goes toward donating tickets to organizations like Motherful, a local collective of single mothers in Columbus, Ohio. Each show selects a cause of their choice, to which another portion of our sales is directed.
Compensating Local Artists
The talented performers and crew members who bring Shakedown Circus to life are often volunteers. Your donation will help us fairly compensate these artists for their time, creativity, and contributions.
Creating a Safe, Empowering Space
Donations will also help fund the production costs of the show, including but not limited to costumes, props, set design and construction, and professional light and sound design. These elements are vital in creating a truly immersive, visually stunning experience that empowers everyone.
